Covering With Hecke Points Original Research Article

The Hecke points are proven to be dense in the fundamental domain of SL(2, Z) and SL(3, Z), with estimates on their covering radii based on the Ramanujan Conjecture. An analogous result is obtained for the space SL(2, Z)\SL(2, R), providing another approach to the problem of approximating real matrices by integral matrices.
