Growth Order and Congruences of Coefficients of the Drinfeld Discriminant Function Original Research Article

The Drinfeld discriminant has a series expansion around infinity, whose coefficients ak lie in A=imageq[T] and satisfy deg akless-than-or-equals, slantk. We determine the set of subscripts k for which the bound is attained and prove congruences for the ak and for the coefficients of related functions.
