An implicit world view in technology and its consequences for contemporary life

The way in which technology is being used as the model for many of our thought patterns today requires urgent consideration, particularly for nursing, because background patterns of thinking that are commonly accepted in our present health care culture have tremendous implications for nursing research and the facilitation of a nurseʹs desire to promote health.
