Patientsʹ attitudes toward advance directives and end-of-life treatment decisions

Although many hospitals have launched patient education programs regarding advance directives, the number of patients choosing to issue these documents remains low. What attitudes do patients have about advance directives, and how do these attitudes relate to the decisions patients make regarding these directives?
