Cultural influence on nursing scholarship and education

An interesting phenomenon occurring in the Japanese academic world is the popularity of a genre of journal called kiyo, a periodical published by smaller units within a large institution. This study examines the nature and the significance of kiyo journals in terms of the cultural context. Nurses throughout the world might consider a similar practice to advance their nursing scholarship and education.
