RETRACTED: Cyanobacterial toxins: a growing environmental concern Review Article

This article has been retracted at the request of the chief editors and authors. Reason: It was brought to our attention that the paper Haider et al. 2003, published in the Environmental Toxicology and Risk Assessment section of Chemosphere, contains material that was taken from a previously published paper by Hitzfeld et al. 2000. After reviewing both papers it was determined that the article indeed contains a great deal of text that is identical to the paper published by Hitzfeld et al. 2000, without appropriate attribution. The original publication is titled: “Cyanobacterial toxins: removal during water treatment, and human risk assessment”, B.C. Hitzfeld, S.J. Hoger and D.R. Dietrich, Environmental Health Perspectives 108 (Suppl 1): 113–122, 2000.
