Abstract
Proposes definitions of the multi-state consecutive-k-out-of-n: F and G systems. Identification of the dual relationship between the proposed systems; Use of the concepts of duality, equivalence, and dominance to evaluate the system state distribution of multi-state consecutive-k-out-of-n: F and G systems; Reference to examples included to illustrate the proposed definitions, concepts and algorithms.
