Abstract
We report the synthesis and radioligand binding analysis of a novel charged melatonin receptor ligand, N-[2-(2-Trimethylammoniumethyleneoxy-7-methoxy)ethyl]propionamide iodide. The charged ligand has potential in determining whether internalization of the melatonin receptor occurs following melatonin exposure.
