Evaluation of the Meteorological Data with Respect to Renewable Energy Applications

The move towards a low-carbon world, driven partly by climate science and partly by the business opportunities it offers, requires the promotion of environmentally friendly energy sources and alternatives in order to achieve an acceptable stabilisation level of atmospheric carbon dioxide. This requires the harnessing and use of natural resources that produce no air pollution or GHGs and provide comfortable coexistence of humans, livestock, and plants. This article presents measurements of global solar radiation; diffuse solar radiation, wind speeds and directions, temperatures and relative humidities.
