  • Abstract
    Sublocale lattices are studied by means of dissolution locales. Various types of covers are introduced and characterized using dissolutions in order to prove the main result of this paper: every dissolution locale is ultraparacompact. Further results are characterizations of locales whose dissolution is κ-compact or extremally disconnected.
