Two-dimensional Q-algebras Original Research Article

Two-dimensional commutative Banach algebra image with a unit has a simple form: a+bB for some fixed B in image and for a,b in image. When image is an operator algebra on a Hilbert space, we show that the norm on image is explicitly determined and then image is a Q-algebra. Moreover, we describe completely two-dimensional Q-algebras with their norms.
