Abstract
Each of the FR family of models has been represented in Resource
Description Framework (RDF), the basis of the Semantic Web. This
has involved analysis of the entity-relationship diagrams and text
of the models to identify and create the RDF classes, properties,
definitions, and scope notes required. The work has shown that
it is possible to seamlessly connect the models within a semantic
framework, specifically in the treatment of names, identifiers, and
subjects, and link the RDF elements to those in related namespaces
