Evaluation and Comparison of Feminism in the Poetry of Forough Farokhzad and Mastureh Ardalan

In this paper, through a feminist-critical approach, we intend to theorize ideas and opinions of Forough Farokhzad and Mastureh Ardalan that are embodied in their poems, and examine the assumption of “lack of freedom of Forugh and Mastureh from the bonds and constraints governing gender within the history of literature”. But these two poets have through deconstruction and applying the school of “feminism” challenged their patriarchal society. In this paper, we explain the school of “feminism” and its constituents while the two female poets along with examples of their feminist poetry are discussed.
