Abstract
Visiometrics is the process of visualizing and quantifying evolving features in space/time two-dimensional and three-dimensional data sets. An important part of this process is the detailed comparisons of these evolving features with features from experiments and other simulations. This allows us to formulate and validate reduced models of complex equations.
In this paper, we focus on the “juxtaposition” or comparison of features from different simulations of computational fluid dynamics and show how insight is gained using this method.
