Abstract
In this paper, we work with the ordinary equation u″-|u|p-1u=0u″-|u|p-1u=0 for some p>0p>0 and obtain some interesting phenomena concerning blow-up, blow-up rate, existence interval, stability, instability, zeros and critical points of solutions to those equations.
