Radial solutions for the image-Laplacian equation Original Research Article

We study the existence of positive solutions of the following nonlinear equation: View the MathML source1A(AΦp(u′))′=φ(.,u), in (0,ω)(0,ω), where p>1,ω∈(0,∞],Φp(x)=x|x|p−2p>1,ω∈(0,∞],Φp(x)=x|x|p−2 and AA satisfies some appropriate conditions. Our purpose is to give two existence results for the above equation subject to some boundary conditions, where the nonlinear term φφ is a nonnegative continuous function in [0,ω)×(0,∞)[0,ω)×(0,∞), satisfying some adequate hypotheses.
