Abstract
For sets given as finite intersections View the MathML sourceA=⋂k=1KAk the basic normal cone View the MathML sourceN(x̄;A) is given as View the MathML source∑kN(x̄;Ak), but such a result is not, in general, available for infinite intersections. A comparable characterization of View the MathML sourceN(x̄;A) is obtained here for a class of such infinite intersections.
