Abstract
Generalisations of the ʹt Hooft-Polyakov monopole which can exhibit repulsion only, attraction only, and both attraction and repulsion, between like monopoles, are studied numerically. The models supporting these solitons are SO(3) gauged Higgs modesl featurinf Skyrme-like terms.
