Effect study of distance between planting rows and harvest time on Henna yield quantity

This experiment was conducted to determine the most suitable distance between planting rows and harvest time using time spilit plots RCBD with 4 replications. 3 rows spacing of (40, 60, 80 (cm)) were studied in main plots (A) and 3 harvest times (when b1:10-20, b2:40-60 and b3:80-100% of plants flowered) in sub plots (B). Wet and dry yield, and leaves yield were measured after plant establishment. At the end of each year the simple ANOVA and at the end of 3 years, the combined ANOVA was performed and means were compered by Duncan test. The highest leaves yield (3.240 (t/ha)) was achived from treatment A1B2 (40-centimeters planting rows harvested when 40-60% of plants flowered) by considering the table of ANOVA, significant effect of row spacing (A) and non significant effect of harvest times (B) and their interaction (A*B).
