Structural Equation Modeling of the Relationship between Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence in Knowledge-Based Companies

Today global competition for achieving the countries? and organizations? suitable position in modern technologies is increased. The information age has been started and creating added value through knowledge is proposed. Creating competitive advantage in knowledge-based economy requires management and using the organization?s implicit knowledge and converting it to the business intelligence. In this regard, monitoring the role of organization knowledge management in promoting the organization?s business intelligence is very important. Although theoretical foundation of previous researches and studies confirm this relation conceptually, the empirical evidences are so few and scattered. For this regard, the present study with the purpose of investigating the relation between knowledge management and business intelligence provides a conceptual-empirical model to determine a relation between these two. Finally, the proposed model has been evaluated and adjusted by using structural equation modelling and according to the collected data from knowledge-based companies in Yazd science and Technical Park.
