Conforming finite element approximation for shells with little regularity Original Research Article

This work concerns the construction of a computer code for a new model of linear thin shells whose midsurfaces can have charts with discontinuous second derivatives. We use a conforming approximation by finite elements of class C1 (Argyris element).
