  • Abstract
    Thepaperdescribesandcomparesthreecomputercodesthatareabletoestimatethedouble-supply-frequency(DSF)pulsationsinannularlinearinductionpumps(ALIPs).TheDSFpulsationsaretheresultofinteractionofthemagneticfieldandinducedinliquidmetalcurrentsbothchangingwithsupply-frequency.Theymaybeofsomeconcernforelectromagneticpumps(EMP)exploitationandneedtobeevaluatedattheirdesign.TheresultsofcomputersimulationarecomparedwithexperimentalonesforannularlinearinductionpumpALIP-1.
