Abstract
TheanalysisofanunintendedmainsafetyvalveopeningatIgnalinaNPPwasperformedwithCOCOSYScodeinordertoassessitscapabilityinsimulationofthetransientprocessesthatoccurinsideAccidentLocalisationSystemofIgnalinaNPP.COCOSYShasseveraluser-selectedoptions,e.g.zonemodel(EQUIL._MOD,NONEQUILIB),waterflowmodel(BAL_DRAIN,DRAIN_BOT),etcfornodalisationdevelopment.Theinfluenceofazonemodelselection,awateroverflowmodelselectionandefficiencyofheatexchangerinCondenserTrayCoolingSystemwasinvestigatedandpresentedinthepaper.TheperformedanalysissupportedintroductionofnewwateroverflowmodelinCOCOSYScodeandshowedthatCOCOSYScodecanbeappliedfortheanalysisofAccidentLocalisationSystemofIgnalinaNPP.
