Abstract
The resolvent over the unit circle of a matrix AA can be decomposed in a general form of a Fourier series. This note shows that the Fourier coefficients decrease to zero with a rate depending essentially on the norm of the solution of the discrete-time Lyapunov equation applied to AA.
