Second order initial value problems of Lane–Emden type Original Research Article

This work discusses the existence of positive solutions to the initial value problem (py′)′±pqg(y)=0(py′)′±pqg(y)=0, t∈[0,T)t∈[0,T), with y(0)=1y(0)=1 and limt→0+p(t)y′(t)=0limt→0+p(t)y′(t)=0. Our analysis is based on the Schauder–Tychonoff theorem.
