The explicit solutions of a class of diffusion equation

For all the relevance of Lie group transformation, we present explicit solutions of diffusion equation with general r-dependent diffusion in a force field derived from a logarthmic potential. The results reported, here, identify a fractional process defined by a diffusion equation rather than by a natural phenomenon. The potential importance of such solutions lies in their application to interpreting experimental measurements of anomalous diffusion process.
