Abstract
Two different realizations of the supersymmetric sine algebra (SSA) are given. We show that the quantum superalgebra slq(2/1) is derived from the SSA. We discuss the relevance of the latter result to the study of spin-12 Bloch electron in a constant magnetic field. The relation between the deformation parameter q and the degeneracy of Landau levels is established.
