Maximum likelihood global positioning system receiver

A maximum likelihood receiver concept has been developed for measuring the positions of vehicles using the signals from the Global Positioning System satellites. This receiver enables tracking when the vehicles are undergoing severe dynamics, including accelerations of 150 g and jerk of 150 g/s, as may be encountered in range testing of aircraft and missiles.
