Volterra type integral equation method for the radial Schrödinger equation: Single channel case

In this paper, we consider the inverse scattering problem of a plane acoustic wave by a multilayered obstacle which is important in various areas of imaging and nondestructive testing. When the core is penetrable (with transmission boundary conditions), we obtain that the core is determined uniquely by the corresponding far field pattern.
