Abstract
This paper is for mixed Fourier–Jacobi approximation and its applications to numerical solutions of semiperiodic
singular problems, semi-periodic problems on unbounded domains and axisymmetric domains,
and exterior problems. The stability and convergence of proposed spectral schemes are proved. Numerical
results demonstrate the efficiency of this new approach.
