    In this paper, using a new method (or framework), we establish the existence of global attractors for a class nonlinear evolution equation in H1 0 (Ω) × H1 0 (Ω), where the nonlinear term f satisfies a critical exponential growth condition. © 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
