Continuous Dependence on the Body Force for Solutions to the Navier-Stokes Equations and on the Heat Supply in a Model for Double Diffusive Porous Convection

We show that the solution to the improperly posed backward in time problem for the Navier-Stokes equations depends continuously on changes in the bodyforce. A feature of the technique employed is that only weak bounds need be imposed on the basic solution. It is also shown how the method may be applied to a model for convective fluid motion in a porous medium, backward in time.
