Optimal Control for Elliptic Volterra-Lotka Type Equations

An optimal control problem for elliptic Volterra-Lotka type equations is considered. The control problem simulates optimal harvesting of growing species. Under certain assumptions, an optimality system is derived, characterizing optimal control. Constructive analytic procedure is designed providing a complete solution of the optimal control problem in some cases.
