Investigating tragedy manifestations in Tarikhe Beihaghi (history book by Beihaghi)

ABSTRACT: Although in the first look, Tarikhe Beihaghi displays itself as a history book, it enjoys high literary aspects and thatʹs why many interested in literature and the researchers attach importance to it. Hence, many researchers have delved into the factors of this valuable work as being a literary piece and have written greatly. We too have tried to investigate the category of tragedy as a literary genre in the stories of Tarikhe Beihghi. We discuss such stories as the ouster of Amir Mohamed from reigning, the hanging of Hasanak the minister and the arrest of Amir Yosef, brother of Mahmood Ghaznavi where some aspects of tragedy manifest.
