Increasing the accuracy in the numerical integration of perturbed oscillators with new methods Original Research Article

An important problem in celestial mechanics is the precise long-term prediction of satellite orbits. This is a difficult problem due to different factors. When the problem is formulated in BF or KS variables its structure is of the form of perturbed oscillators. The effect of the choice of the frequency in the integration of perturbed oscillators leads us to construct new methods which exhibit a very good behaviour.
