Examining and Analyzing the Pattern of Population and Labour Force Distribution in watershed of shahrud District

Examining and analyzing the pattern of population and labour force distribution in Abkhiz district as one of the most important production factors is worth taking into consideration. This research aims at finding, analyzing and recognizing the pattern of population and labour force distribution in Abkhizshaurud in Sangar region of Rasht province. The methodology employed is descriptive and statistics are based on document studies, the internet and library sources such as public census of population and housing in 1996 and 2006 and public agriculture census of Statistical Centre of Iran. The research focuses on population indexes such as the number of population, its development, population density, population composition according to sex and age, population movement, level of literacy, labour force, employment and etc. in Abkhizshahrud. The results show although the rate of employment and level of literacy in the aforementioned district during ten-year period, 1996-2006, have been increased, the number of population has been declined during the same period.
