  • Abstract
    A graph is said to be of class I if its chromatic index is equal to the maximum of degree of this graph. In this paper we show that every k-degenerate graph with Δ⩾2k is of class I; and that every plane graph with Δ=6 and without 3, 4, or 5-cycles is of class I.
