Abstract
A lower bound on the probability P(A1 ∪ ⋯ ∪ Am) is presented, in terms of the P(Ai)ʹs and P(Ai ∩ Aj)ʹs only. A comparison is made to a similar inequality due to Dawson and Sankoff (1967).
