Determination of trace elements in foliar tissues of forest trees for nutrition diagnostics

For a correct diagnostic of the content of trace elements in forest trees, we need accurate measurement techniques of leaf contents, but also optimal sampling strategies, sample preparation and sample mineralization. The different steps of procedures carried out are described here, with emphasis on the mineralization procedure and with particular adaptation to each element. The various spectrometric techniques for element identification we used are specified.
