Abstract
Results are presented for the fluxes of sulphur and nitrogen to the surfaces of three historic buildings in the UK. The relative importance of wet and dry deposition are considered and it is shown that dry deposition was the dominant input mechanism at these sites. The gaseous form contributed most of the flux and the contribution from particulate-associated matter was small. Gas-particle relationships for sulphur are examined in detail.
