Abstract
The basic mechanism of laser plasma interaction is the inverse bremsstrahlung. Thus the knowledge of electron density and electron temperature makes possible the evaluation of energy transport into the plasma with regard to temporal and local behaviour as well as its effectivity. The results of probe measurements and local and temporal resolved spectroscopy are compared with those of the theoretical model.
