Electronic and magnetic structure in 4d transition metal clusters

The magnetic properties of small 4d transition metal clusters are studied in the framework of a self-consistent tight-binding Hamiltonian. The role of the size and symmetry of the structure on the stability of magnetic states is determined by performing calculations for different geometrical arrangements.
