    A cavity model is presented to compute the element radius, gain, bandwidth, efficiency, conductor loss, dielectric loss, quality factor and radiation resistance of the circular microstrip antenna on thin substrate. The results of cavity model show good agreement with the theoretical results as compared to the results of previous rectangular microstrip antenna.
