Languages can be expressed through two main modes: speech and writing, though the former is more natural. The language of news is a kind of spoken languages where listening plays an essential role. It is an active process by which listeners recognize the speech sounds and it suprasegmental features. English speakers adapt their pronunciation to their listeners in normal speech and speak in rhythmical way. This fact constitutes a problem for nonnative English speakers, i. e., they are unable to completely understand the messages. The current study aims at investigating and identifying English rhythm by analyzing selected extracts which are taken from the BBC satellite channel news so as to raise the awareness for this prosodic feature. Hence, a variety of practical kinesthetic, visual, and aural teaching tools and activities are then presented to introduce English rhythm based on its characteristics in the hope that these ways can make the teaching of English rhythm in the language classroom more effective
