Task Based Language Teaching is an approach to teaching a foreign language that seeks toengage learners in interactional authentic language use by having them perform a series oftasks. It implies providing learners with authentic sources of meaningful materials, idealsituations for communicative activity, and supportive feedback allowing for much greateropportunities for language use.The present study puts forward the following questions:1- How do Iraqi intermediate school EFL teachers perceive TBLT?2- What are the Iraqi EFL teachers’ views on the implementation, procedures, and constraintsof TBLT?3- Do the variations in gender, teaching experience, and the grade teachers teachaffect EFL teachers perceptions of the TBLT?
