اثر اسلوب السرد القصصي في تحسين مهارة الاستماع الناقد لدى طلاب الصف العاشر في الاردن

This study aimed at investigating the effect of storytelling technique on improving Jordanian tenth grade students’ critical listening skill. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher developed two instruments. The First instrument was a multiple choice test which consists of 24 items on critical listening Skills which includes. This study followed the quasi-experimental pre/posttests design in terms of using one experimental group and one control group. The participants in the study were 40 tenth grade students purposefully chosen from Alkawm Alahmar secondary school in the North-Eastern Badia Directorate of Education in the academic year 2014/2015. The participants were divided into two groups: one experimental group and one control group, 20 students in each group. The experimental group was taught through storytelling technique and the control group was taught by the conventionally method.
