التلوث البكتيري والكيمياوي لمياه الشرب في قضاء الكوفة

This paper includert the studl, of bacterial and chemical pollution of drinking n,ater in Al-Kufa region which stated the Lacterial species responsible of this coliform. The results showed that 82.goh of the samples u as polluted t ith different kinds of bacteria The colon baeteria rate was 33.30 , Clostridium perferngis was 25.4oh and fecal strptococei 21.2o/o and Pseudonlonus oeruginosa l?,lo/o. While the peicentage of Aeromonas species 4.8o/o, while for the anaerogenic coli type its rate rr as 3.3o . The results also indicated that concerning coliform bacteria that Enterobacler specie represents a highest ratio of 55.40 . While klebsitla 29/o and Citrobacter 18oh while Escherichia species represents 7.3o/o of coliform bacteria and finally Salmonella specie holds 3.97o. As for the chemical pollution, a slighichange in the alkaline minerals concentrations was noticed but it does not exceed the acceptable. While the total hardness shows the rates are at medium levels and that is due to the high rates of alkaline on the effect of relativelv high rates of bicarbonates and sulphates and then effects the total outcome. Small amounts of sulphates, phosphates and nitrates river that supplies the filterization stations is iurrounded by agricultural lands which are irrigated and broaching in the same river
