Formations of Actor’s Body Inside The Space of Theatrical Performance : Antigone Dream and Reality

ءThe study examined the movement on stage as the basic action in the directing process, since it is done without words، and the body of the actor is the central hub for generating emotional responses to various implications. Movement on the stage are not spontaneous or improvised، but they are deliberate and calculated accurately by actors toreflect the inner world of the character, his attitudes, location, and atmosphere of the theater. The study aimed to describe the nature and composition of the attributes and characteristics of movement formation in performances of Antigone and Dream and Reality through observations of directing vision of reality, and to ensure the possibility of creating human characters and entities extracted from the environment. The study used the analytical approach، and concluded the necessity for actors to own enough physical technique to be used in the process of creation of their characters. It also concluded that sceneography is also able to create visual images in the form of brief ideas translated through the vocabulary and components of the play, especially the body of the actor.
