The aim of this research is to provide a simple procedure for estimatin° the atmospheric effects on microwave propagation at 97GHz . The results showed that oxygen ,water vapor affect the propagation of microwaves specially when relative humidity is very nigh .It was found that rain is the most important factor in affecting the microwave propagation
