Simulation program for one of the Electro- Optical Tracking Systems

A computer algorithm is developed for describing parts of one of infrared passive tracking system. This building program consists of several model parts based on mathematical analysis concepts. This work involves a simulation program built by using the MATLAB (version 6، 1) simulink software along with an optimization method that gives the best of one of tracking system. The results of this work shows that the final signals have good forms and matching with traditional signals obtained from the experimental data. When two sources are considered to appear in the field of view of the tracking system, simulation program does not give a clear discrimination between them indicating that the system tracks a single source of higher intensity even if multiple sources are considered
